A man was pronounced dead at the scene early Friday morning following a collision between a vehicle and a Ride On bus, according to Montgomery County Police.
Police officers responded at around 4:47 a.m. Friday to the area near the intersection of the Midcounty Highway and Goshen Road in Gaithersburg following a report of a collision. When they arrived, they found a man, who was pronounced dead, according to police.
The driver of the Ride On bus remained on the scene and was not injured. There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the accident.
TRAFFIC ADVISORY: MCPD 6D officers and MCFRS dispatched at 4:47 a.m. for a fatal collision involving a vehicle and Ride On bus.
Mid County Highway is closed at Goshen Road and Goshen Road is closed at Emory Grove Road.
The driver of the Ride On bus remained on scene.
