Montgomery County Fire and Rescue crews are searching the Potomac River near Vaso Island after a hiker on Billy Goat Trail C spotted an overturned canoe in the water Tuesday morning, according to MCFRS.
Swift Water Rescue boats and other units responded and are searching the area, MCFRS said. As of the initial report, there was no indication anyone was missing in the water.
