A former teacher who assaulted an administrator at Wheaton’s Glen Haven Elementary School in mid-June has been deemed incompetent to stand trial.
The incident precipitated a lockdown while police apprehended 27-year-old Nadine Akoko Sefako-Dogbo. Sefako-Dogbo trespassed, attacking a former coworker. Police were called to the scene where they arrested her as she tried to flee.
Sefako-Dogbo was charged with assault in the second degree and resisting arrest.
Almost two months after her initial hearing, Sefako-Dogbo was transferred to the Maryland Department of Health for a competency evaluation. She continues to be held without bond.
Her next scheduled court appearance is set for December 15.
