The Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) recovered a body from a pond in Redgate Park in Rockville Tuesday morning.
MCFRS Spokesman Pete Piringer initially tweeted around 10:15 a.m. that a water rescue was underway, but later updated that they were assisting the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) with a body recovery.
Authorities have not released details of the incident or about the person recovered.
