County Cancels Thursday COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Clinics

Winter Storm Forces County to Cancel Thursday’s COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Clinics

Montgomery County announced Wednesday afternoon that vaccination and testing clinics scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 18 are canceled due to forecasted snow and dangerous road conditions.

Residents with an appointment for a vaccine on Thursday have been automatically rescheduled for the same time for either Saturday or Sunday as follows:

  • The vaccination clinic scheduled for Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville is rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 20 at the same location.
  • The vaccination clinic scheduled for Quince Orchard High School will take place on Sunday, Feb. 21.

Residents with appointments have been notified by the State’s PrepMod appointment system about the cancellation of Thursday’s clinics. Those with appointments will receive an additional email from c19vaccination@montgomerycountymd.gov with more specific information. Residents with scheduled appointments include those in Priority Group 1A and residents in Priority Group 1B, Tier 1 (residents 75 and older).

County-run COVID-19 testing clinics scheduled for Feb. 18 are also canceled and residents with appointments are being notified to reschedule at their convenience. More information on COVID-19 testing clinics and instructions on making an appointment for testing is at www.MoCoCOVIDtesting.org.
