1. Springlike Weather: It will be warmer today, with temperatures climbing to the mid-50s. Saturday and Sunday temperatures are expected to be in the 60s.

2. Officials Talk Education on Facebook Live:  Montgomery College President Dr. DeRionne Pollard and Councilmember Craig Rice discuss how the college provides tools and resources to students on Facebook Live Friday, Jan. 10 at 10 a.m.

3. Gallery B Art Exhibit Opening Reception:  Meet the artists who created the “Viewpoint” exhibit on display currently at Gallery B. The reception takes place Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. Studio B, Triangle art Studios, and Waverly Street Gallery also host opening receptions Friday evening.

4. Districtwide Boundary Analysis Meeting: Montgomery County Public Schools is holding another meeting for people to weigh in on the Districtwide Boundary Analysis study Saturday, Jan. 11 from 10 a.m. to noon at Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring.

5. Volunteer Fair:  Share your passion for history by volunteering with Montgomery Parks. Learn about opportunities to help bring history to life at Montgomery Parks’ historic sites on Saturday, Jan. 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Olney Library.
