1.Federal Technology Transfer Round Table: At 8:30 a.m. the Montgomery County Council’s Planning, Housing and Economic Development (PHED) Committee will host a round table discussion on federal technology transfer in the Council Office Building’s Third Floor Hearing Room (100 Maryland Ave. in Rockville).

2. Long Branch Festival Week: The community is creating a temporary civic green for gatherings and new activities during this week long event. Today at 6:00 p.m. Maryland Science Entertainer, Eric Energy will engage in kids science shows that cover a wide range of educational topics including air, matter, sound, electricity and more! This will take place at Flower Avenue Urban Park, 8746 Flower Ave, Silver Spring, MD.

3. Bridging the Gap- Adult Children and Grandchildren: This event will address the different stages of life for the different generations as well as the difference due to the passages of time. Learn how to communicate with, respect, and relate to one another despite differences. This is an educational workshop and support group that will take place at the Rockville Senior Center [1150 Carnation Drive] from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Click here for more information.

4. Artrepreneur: Operation A.R.T.S presents Artrepreneur, a multi-genre event, featuring a gallery tour of local artists, an interactive professional development workshop, and networking happy hour.
