Eddy Thomas Jara of Gaithersburg was killed in a tw0-car collision Jan. 15 at 7:23 a.m. in the area of Muncaster Mill Road and Sycamore Lane in Rockville.
According to Montgomery County Police, the driver of a black 2015 Honda Civic was headed west on Muncaster Mill Road when he crossed the center lane and struck a 2004 Ford Escape that was headed east.
Jara, 30, was driving the Honda and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
The driver and passenger in the Ford were taken to an area hospital for injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
