The Summer Traffic Force reports 13 arrests for driving under the influence (DUI) during its eighth week of operations.
The force also conducted one criminal arrest, 131 traffic citations, 110 traffic warnings, 11 equipment repair orders, 8 breath tests and one criminal citation.
The group, composed of members of the Montgomery County Police Department’s Alcohol Initiative Unit and Alcohol Enforcement Section works to enforce traffic laws during a time associated with increased impaired driving.
The Summer Traffic Force will continue their operations until the end of July.
