1. Community meeting: At 7 p.m. at Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, DC Water will host a community meeting to give an update on the Potomac Interceptor collapse and repair. See more here

2. The sewage spill: A section of the pipeline that transports wastewater from Montgomery County into Washington, D.C. collapsed near the Clara Barton Parkway and I 495 by Cabin John on Jan. 19.

3. Council committee meetings: The County Council will have four committee meetings today starting at 10 a.m. The meetings will be livestreamed on YouTube @MoCoCouncilMD.
