The Takoma Park Police Department helped a 3-year-old celebrate his birthday on Tuesday. This boy is someone officers got to know in September after a frightening incident.
On Sept. 9, the boy fell 11 stories from an apartment building on Maple Avenue in Takoma Park. At the time, he was taken to the hospital for injuries.

Takoma Park police say the boy is doing well now.
