Covid and Children – Advice from NIH

As the Omicron variant rages, children under the age of 5 remain among the most vulnerable Americans. At this point, no vaccines are available for this age group. Meanwhile, hospitalizations among children aged 0-4 continue to rise to levels unseen since the pandemic began. Parents often find few guidelines for how to deal with the health of their small children during this latest viral surge.  To get some answers, My MCMedia spoke with Doctor Rohan Hazra, NIH’s Acting Director of the Division of Extramural Research at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.
