Police Release Surveillance Video of Bethesda Armed Robbery Suspect

The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) Major Crimes division continue to investigate an armed robbery that took place on Feb. 17, in Bethesda. Detectives released surveillance video of the suspect in hopes someone may recognize the person.

Police officers responded to a report of a commercial armed robbery at the Dunkin’ Donuts in the 5400 block of Old Georgetown Road in Bethesda on Saturday, Feb. 17. The investigation determined that a male suspect entered the shop and demanded money from an employee, implying he was armed with a handgun. According to police, the employee gave the suspect money from the cash register. The suspect left the store and pointed the handgun at the employee.

Police describe the suspect as an adult male, in his twenties or thirties, approximately 5-feet, 8-inches tall, 150 lbs and armed with a handgun.
