Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) announce the district will be open Monday, March 9 and operating on a normal schedule.
The school district is aware of fake posts circulating on social media suggesting schools will be closed due to the coronavirus. MCPS officials stress that any information about school closures or updates regarding the coronavirus will come directly from Montgomery County health officials and will be posted on the official MCPS website.
