1. Council Meeting: Montgomery County Council Committees are meeting today starting at 9:30 a.m.

2. Public Hearing: The Council will hold a public hearing on Planning Board draft of the Silver Spring Downtown & Adjacent Communities Plan today at 7:30 p.m.

3. Montgomery County Public Library: Join author Kim Malinowski once each month for a series of writing workshops covering Flash Fiction, Prose Poetry, Flash Memoir, and the Hybrid Short. Today at 7:00 p.m.

4. Video Contest (ICYM): Montgomery County High School Students will have the opportunity to show what they know and help educate others by creating a video promoting pedestrian safety.

County Challenges Students to Create Safe Driving Videos
