Update: Gov. Larry Hogan announced at a press conference Tuesday that the state will start easing capacity limits at bars, restaurants, and other establishments.

Original: Gov. Larry Hogan announced an update on the state’s response to the coronavirus pandemic and recovery Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. Check back here for the live stream.

According to the Maryland Department of Health, nearly one million people in the state have received the first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines and more than 744,000 people, or 9.5%, have received the second dose. The state is currently in phase 1C of its vaccination plan.

In Montgomery County, more than 189,000 residents have received the first dose and more than 92,000, or 8.8%, have received the second dose.
